I thought these would be the thin stamped sheet metal ones but they were thicker machined parts that are a bit heavier. Not bad for the price. Better than plastic junk.

The product is high quality - aluminum with a nice internal seal. The only issue is that the ones I got are BLACK, not silver as pictured. So if this were for farm equipment, no problem, but they are for my aluminum car wheels, so they are a bust. I wanted a very small, non obtrusive cover and these fit the bill perfectly except for the color. I guess I could strip the black paint off or wire brush them - a brushed finish is what I want anyway. But what a PITA...
