I tried a wrist sling from Trophy Ridge prior to this and found that the strap/sling itself was too narrow to work in any comfortable manner. It constantly dug into my wrist, causing discomfort. In addition, the budget-popular front bar that the sling straps are held by it large, heavy, and a bit ugly. This looks extremely simple however, is incredibly light weight, adjustable, and the strap itself has the paracord enforced strap over the wrist, providing a surprising amount of comfort. Install and adjustment is easy. I'm more than pleased with this, and the fact it was something like $8 is an incredible value.
