Well-made, but does not fit a 1" curb box standpipe as advertisedThis tool is solidly built and looks like it would perform well—if it fit my intended application. Unfortunately, the product description as of May 2025 is inaccurate. It states “...will fit inside a curb box with a 1" pipe upper section,” but the head of the tool is far too large for that. The working end measures 1-3/8" x 1-3/8", which simply won’t pass through a 1" standpipe. The 6' long rod body itself is 5/8", but that’s irrelevant if the tool can’t physically enter the pipe. Check your curb box standpipe dimensions carefully before ordering to ensure inside diameter is at least 1-1/4" if you order this.
