Good quality items that work fine. The fit is good on several trumpets I've tried. They 'may' not work on some vintage or off-brand instruments, so a trial fit is the only way to know. The thing is, why would one replace them in the first place? Unless you lose a valve stem down the drain when cleaning your trumpet, or break off the finger button screw in the stem, you'll never need these. But it doesn't hurt to have some spares on hand just in case some bad accident happens to your horn. These will do the job and the price makes them a valuable addition to your spare parts kit. And yes, I bought them as spares in my repair business because occasionally one is needed.

I've used these piston stems while tuning up and rebuilding my old Bach trumpet. They come in a standard size and were easy to replace. With support from some mineral oil, they moved more smoothly than the older pieces, and looked sharper as well. The product came in a simple, bare-bones plastic bag and the price is very reasonable. Recommended.
