This is literally a 2 minute replacement. I used the spudger that came in an iFixit iPhone kit that I had laying on hand to aid in the removal of the old unit, but any plastic (not metal!) edged object like a guitar pick could have worked.Moving the cable is pretty simple as it is keyed to ensure the correct polarity. As this part is for vehicles that are 15+ years old (as of this writing), you'll want to ensure that you handle the wiring with care. There are a ton of videos on YouTube that show the entire replacement procedure, so you may want to check that out prior to embarking on the replacement.I hope this review helps you make an informed purchasing decision!
