Seem to be decent. I have the rear still installed and works fine. Gears are kinda choppy and not a great mesh and not very smooth and I had to remove the front it stopped putting power to the front. Gear mesh must be that sloppy. If it should be shimmed that should be included with the gears.

The gears fit in the bearings just fine. No issues installing whatsoever. Update: The one's I installed on the rear were eaten up. metal isn't as strong as I thought. Plastic ones are lasting longer.

Much better than stock and Traxx aftermarket pot metal ones. You might need to file paint off connector, for aftermarket steel drive train to fit. A must if you upgraded to underdrive transmission and more powerful motor.

These gears appear to be significantly stronger than the factory default hot cast gears. The installation was as expected for your Differential. Make sure when you swap them out, you put the diff back on in the right direction....lesson learned....These work great once installed properly and I will purchase them again over buying them from the MFG if needed in the future.

Gears started grinding after a few sessions, keep in mind i dont do serious crawling and my defender is not that heavy. It was ok but didnt last any longer then my stock diff. Will try helical diff gears next
