  • You can see power status and signal strength on the LED display. If the connection is not good, make sure both TX and RX are charged by power supply above 5V/2A.

  • The wireless HDMI transmitter and receiver are mainly for PC/Laptop/TV Box/Cameras/DV with HDMI port. Not compatible with most smartphones and tablets. And 2 HDMI converters are included to connect cameras & DV.

  • The wireless HDMI transmitter supports decoding 4K video, but will output in 1080P. (ALL wireless HDMI transmitters will downscale resolution to 1080P. )

  • The latency is lower than 0,01s which is hard to feel. There is not influence for watching movies/ business presentation. But not recommended for playing games that have high requirement for low lantency.

  • When the TX and RX connect, the temperature will increase. And the chips have overheating protection. It is normal, and the function will not be affected.

Other reviews complained about overheating and the lack of an included 5v 2 amp power supply so I also bought two small USB fans and two AC extension power blocks that had USB ports to provide adequate power and to keep the devices cool. The devices connected successfully, ran for several hours transmitting youtube videos and remained at about 75° F. The receiver did start to get hot when the fan was acidentally moved. Quite a collection of stuff but it worked.
