Warm Tips
1. The bias and gain of two 6E2 tubes are set well before shipping, please pay attention to the R/L channel markings on the tubes, don't insert them wrongly during installation.
2. 3.5mm headphone jack with priority, please make sure the headphone has been disconnected if you want RCA output.
3. Pluggable tube socket design, convenient to be replaced by 6K4, EF93, 6BA6, W727 etc. to enjoy tube sound of different styles.
4. T9 is a preamp not a power amplifier, needed to work with amplifiers or active speakers.

If you are looking for the sound of tubes without buying an expensive tube amp. this is for you.Sweet sounding pre-amp! Low on features but it gets the job done.The only thing I dint like is a loud pop when you turn the power off but that can be remedied by turning the volume down before shutting down.

I use this in a DIY High end setup with some very serious speakers that are close to 2K just for the parts (Aurum Cantus G1, Morel TSCM634, Audyn/Jantzen capacitors, Foil inductors) with 2 different amps. and have been very impressed. I have modded it as well with jantzen Z-Silver caps(i did not try the original caps i used the caps from another diy pre). This preamp is of an excellent design The power supply and transformer are far in the back and the signal path is as short and simple as possible. This preamp has a nice warmth and no compromise in detail bass is clean not boomy, horns and vocals are completely life-like and treble is very sweet. This is an excellent deal you would have to pay top dollar to get even close to the sound quality this can provide. Building it was pretty simple as long as you can match the wires(which the manufacturer has a good diagram).

Really adds that extra push to my stereo system when listening to LP's. When I listen to cd's that were originally recorded on analog tape, this little preamp seems to fill out the sound. It makes it sound like it was recorded yesterday. Very easy to put together. Wiring wasn't marked like I thought it should be, but I found a video on You Tube that showed the proper set up.

I bought this preamp about 2 months ago with GE5670 valve. It was packaged well and was very simple to put it together. After few hours of run time, I noticed the stereo imaging, staging, and instrument separation just got way better then my Morrison ELAD line level preamp. My setup includes KEF 203, Emotiva XPA-2, MIT Cable. I am sure some of the expensive preamps are absolutely great, but this P3 is amazing considering the price I paid. Highly recommend for anyone wanting to play with tube preamp. I am looking forward to other peoples comments on what they have done to improve sound quality to the next level. I can't wait to try this combo with my Fostex dyi speakers I am building soon.
