works fine wiht some HF connectors I got,, only thing is the part gets stuck in the jaws,, so i have to pop them out when crimp, if you are lying on your back and reaching up, this can be a pain, BUT the crimp is great, much better than the scissor crimp cheap ones..

THE HANDLES ARE TOO SHORT TO GET AN EASY CRIMP. WORKS WHEN USED BUY WEIGHTLIFTERS OR YOU CAN USE A VISE. I WILL BE ADDING CHEATER BARS TO EXTEND THE HANDLES TO GET A BETTER GRIP. IT DOES THE JOB MAKES A GOOD CRIMP. THE COST IS WORTH THE PRODUCT.

22-18 AWG ring terminals can be the most notorious to get good looking tight crimp. For that reason I always use non insulated terminals. I use Sopoby (Amazon) 22-18 1/4” and remove the attached heat shrink. They are actually brass (not as advertised) and very hard to crimp but this crimper can do it. I actually prefer the brass because it doesn’t get chewed up when installed. There’s an adjustment wheel on the side of the crimper. I had to turn it one notch clockwise to have it release a bit earlier at the end of the squeeze. If it gets stuck before the release, there’s a little lever flip between the handles. To finish off the terminal use PPCION brand (Amazon) 1/8” heat shrink. This is actually flexible and acts like a strain relief. I like to slide a number(labeler) inside and a tiny dab of non acidic silicone in the end that won’t quite shrink to a close.
