Direct Fit Replacement Lift Support, Makes Opening And Closing Easy And Comfortable, Convenient And Safe.
The body of our gas springs are made of high quality seamless tubes, treated with phosphate before painting to increase protection against corrosion, and help the special grade paint adhere to the body of the gas spring strongly.
The rods are machined on centerless grinding and polishing machines and also treated with centerless rollers to obtain a smooth surface for the long life cycle that Tuff Support gas springs have.
Rod diameters are checked with lasers for imperfections and diameter fluctuations to meet OEM specs. Rods are heat treated and nitrated for hardening and resistance to corrosion.

No issues at all for a 1999 Mercury Mountaineer. Arrived next day. Hood took very little initial effort to lift then pushed itself up the rest of the way, magical.

all 6 of these struts fit perfect on my 2009 ford explorer I replaced the 2 for the hood 2 for rear glass 2 for rear door ( lift gate ) all worked great no problems with install all parts of with these gas charged struts work as good as when this explorer was new
