Super bummed about these breeches. The fit isn’t great. The rise on the pants is very high so the crotch is low after two (2) 30 minute rides the seam is already ripping. So disappointed

I like these breeches for my 11 (almost 12) year old son as they have belt loops, which he wears his C4 belt with (bright orange..his eventing color), and the rear pockets that give it a masculine look, as well as a non-contrasting colored chamois inside the legs. My son is average height and a strong build..not scrawny..he's about 105lbs and wears a size 16. So they definitely run on the small side. He's been wearing these for a few years now and has generally worn a size above his age. As anyone with a boy that rides you know finding riding apparel isn't easy..it's a female dominated market. These jods are not as inexpensive as consignment shop prices the girls can find, but they are very durable for the price. My son wears his to the barn daily sometimes and they still wash up well for showtime..just don't paint in them! :)

The sizing is so off! Incredibly small- no size chart on Amazon . Ordered a 16 from reading other reviews how small they run/ wouldn't fit my string bean 10 year old. Must be returned

I have an 8 year old grandson, we ordered the size 8 then sent them back, order the size 10. The fabric is quality, but the lower legs are incredible skinny and fit tight for this normal sized 8 year old. Next pair I order will be a stretch knight fabric.

These are great breeches! They fit like a boys 7 in most brands. I have not washed them yet but they are 92% cotton so I imagine they will shrink a bit. The fabric is nice and sturdy but soft and comfortable.

My 5 yr old son is a skinny little string bean, 39lbs, 43 inches tall, wears a size 4 in most shorts/pants. Smallest size these jodhpurs are offered in is a 6. I nearly passed them up but based on other reviews indicating they ran small, took a chance and got the 6. He just tried them on and though a little long, they look fine. If they shrink any with washing they'll be perfect. Either way, very pleased!
