The formfitting design of the Tuffy lockbox has over 336 cubic inches of lockable storage. It’s secured contents are easily accessed by maneuvering the drawer open and closed on the smooth ball bearing slides using the convenient pull lever. Featuring Tuffy’s Pry-Guard Locking System with a 10 tumbler double bitted security lock with built in weather seals. The design incorporates a heavy duty fully extending slide system, weather seal and welded construction. A formed rib in the enclosure additionally strengthens the locking system. Mounts inconspicuously under the drivers side seat in a Jeep TJ (No Flip Seat) and LJ (No Flip Seat) out of apparent sight of would be thieves.

The unit wouldn't fit under the seat Luke stated. Unfortunately unable to return because it was a present and by the time he received it , it was to late to return.

This doesn’t fit across the under seat of my titan have to custom cut a piece to reach across. Feel like it’s more designed for a car,Other than that it’s great.

Quick and easy installation. I keep the registration and some tools in it when the top and doors are off. Seems secure, its the least of my worries when the top and doors are off.

I've had a Tuffy security drawer in every Jeep I've owned. Wouldn't go without one. Easy to install, sturdy and strong. Very secure.

I’m very happy with 248-01 under seat safe, if someone is going to try and take it out, they better have what I have in tools, same to in stall, my 04 Jeep seats don’t make it easy

Drawer was somewhat simple to install. Seat bolts must be tightened in a certain order due to the drawer blocking access to them once it's put into place. Everything lined up well and tightened up nice and secure. It also seems to be pretty well hidden unless your looking under the seat for something. I only wish they included a padded non slip drawer liner.
