Your cart is empty.Organize and secure the gear in the back of your Jeep Wrangler JL. The enclosure lid secures shut using Tuffy's patented security system working in conjunction with the Jeep's locking tailgate and Alpine subwoofer option. The lid easily hinges open and can be held up using an attached support rod. The lid, vertical front and side panels can be easily removed without tools so larger items can be transported when required. The entire Tuffy Deck Enclosure is constructed using welded 16-gauge steel, heavy duty fasteners, and covered with a durable textured powder coat finish. The Tuffy Deck Enclosure does not rely on the wheel well to create an enclosed space adding an additional level of security. The vehicle power lock switches on the tailgate become disabled after approximately 16 seconds when locking the doors with the key fob so the enclosure remains secured. The patented design quickly and easily installs to the vehicle floor with standard hand tools in the 4-door model with and without an OEM hardtop.

Part of the Tuffy is better than the JK version (like you can lift the lid), but since it only mounts to two bolt holes (one on each side) it feels like a good tug could remove it (not ideal for a SECURITY truck). The powder coat is very thin and it is impossible not to scratch it while installing. Throw away the directions once you count your parts and look for good install videos on YouTube, as the directions are TERRIBLE. With all of that said, it fits, it works and it will secure your stuff (barely) with the top and doors off. I think it is over priced, but there are not a lot of other good solutions out there.

When box was installed, the tailgate would hit the box. I also had to remove a rear panel for the second seating row and still would not fit correctly.

Installed really easily.. I don't think any cuss words were used at all... does what it says, doesn't hurt the sound.. I'm not 100% but i kinda think it made it sound better.

Unfortunately while it came close it just missed the mark to often.PROS:1) It will keep your cargo secure2) it fits well and looks nice3) super simple to install4) Economical compared to similar productsCONS:1) Mounting is weak with only two mount points (Simply improving the mounting to four points would probably resolve all the cons I experienced)2) Difficult to close properly due to flex of the boxIt was the difficulty of closing the top each time that ultimately led me to return this product . I was concerned that over the long haul it would bend and twist to the point something broke or warped permanently. Ultimately decided to go with another product at twice the price

Not hard to assemble and fits nicely. FYI: You will need a star bit to remove factory bolts that most people don’t have.
