This is a very fun and creative project for any kid age 5-10. Comes with everything you need to paint the ceramic figures. Quality was top notch. The paint and the brushes were in great condition. The ceramic figures were cute and not too complicated for kids to paint.

In our world of whimsical and fantasy, unicorns and rainbows fit in perfectly. These high-quality, unfinished ceramic figurines are a young rising painter’s dream. They start with an empty “canvas” and create their own unique style with the generous number of paints included which they can use as is or mix to design a palette of colors distinctive to them. The paint colors are vibrant and eye-catching. The kit comes with paintbrushes, but you may want to pick up a few extra in case you don’t have any lying around.This is a hit even with children outside the listed age range of 5-10.

This comes with two figurines, lots of paints (much more than needed, which is great - a nice assortment of color choices to be sure!), and two paint brushes. My oldest little loved it and painted it the very day I gave it to her. And the paints cleaned off the brushes super easy, making it easy for her to clean her brush without worry of the colors mixing due to not fully rinsing out. I can attest that she THOROUGHLY enjoyed this kit!! The figurines are enclosed in styrofoam and made it in my carry on luggage without any mishaps because of how well they are secured in their packaging. One downside - though not enough to take away a star, because it doesn't detract from this particular product - there are no instructions. Yes, you obviously paint it, but no information on the care of the finished product, if the paints will stain clothing or furniture, what happens if your painted statue gets wet, etc. Something like that would have been a really nice bonus. Still, a great item for the little artist / unicorn lover in your life! Highly recommended!!

Big craft for 8-12 year olds- it isn’t a huge timed product if trying to find a project that’s lasts for hours - didn’t take my kids very long to do but everything is well made. Pretty sculptures for little girls.

This kit comes with 2 figurines- the rainbow and the unicorn along with supplies to paint them. It was really easy for the 4 year old to get started all on her own and the little pots of paint helped contain the mess. She had a lot of fun decorating them and the paint dried fast so she could handle them quickly and didn't get her hands as messy. Plus the colors look great. The whole family enjoyed the project! A fun gift for anyone that enjoys figurines and painting.

I think the greatest thing about this project is that it can be a shared adventure between the child and an adult or friend with equal enjoyment. I was impressed with the vivid colors of the paint included. Also worth noting is that there is definitely enough of each color that sharing is going to be a success in that regard. The fact that the ceramic figures themselves were so smooth and a great deal more light weight than I expected also was a delight to see. This is such a fun, vibrant and positive gift possibility I am glad the holidays are headed here soon.
