This stone was an important material for Minoan artisans on the Greek island of Crete, who left a rich archeological legacy of jasper artifacts. This is a volcanic stone that takes different colors and patterns depending on the mineral content of the original sediment and the manner in which the lava cools. This variety of jasper is yellow in color with possible brown streaks. Yellow Jasper is commonly associated with the solar plexus chakra.

What I got is a bunch of thin undersized shards. Maybe they're getting down to the bottom of the bin, I'm not sure what to do with them. Even the ones that are an inch long are skinny and thin like guitar picks.

The stones are beautiful. 1lb lot with consistent size and weights from 4g - 8g, color is rich, and tone is deep yellow golden; the finish is shiny and smooth. Delivery was on the same day! I will buy this again. Thank you Zentron Crystals.

The selection that I received is absolutely fantastic! There are many stones in a variety of sizes. Most contain some patterns of variety of colours. Few are solid yellow. There are yellow, tan, mustard, cream, and some brown stripe. They are well polished and smooth,lovely shapes. Several are large at 1-1/2 inches. A couple are 1/2 inch. Most are around 3/4-1 inch. I am extremely happy with my purchase.

beautiful pieces but they are small. you will definitely get 1 pound of gems. would have preferred larger and fewer pieces. they are indeed tumbled nicely. have put them away because they are a choking hazard. still lovely, though
