Update: The seller contacted me and replaced the broken cable. I have to say, that was unexpected and very much appreciated. The hooks are very nice quality, feel very sturdy and easily glide through yarn - unlike the high end bamboo hooks I first tried. Maybe it's just me, but I really prefer the feel of smooth metal hooks when crocheting. The range of sizes of the hooks seems well suited to a wide range of projects. I have already completed my first blanket and I'm quite enjoying this set of hooks. Again, thank you to the seller for being responsive and offering after sale help in such a friendly and efficient manner.I noticed that the cable was getting bent a little, but I didn’t think anything of it at first. Then I noticed the yarn was not sliding over the connection as smoothly as it first was and I thought, “I sure hope this doesn’t break when I have a full row of loops on it.” Well, guess what? It broke when I had a full row of loops on it.

love the look and feel of this set. Feels fancy and the hooks are just the right shape for tunisian. I like a pointy tip on my hook and these are just right. I like the variety of cables included and they're swivel cables which is a MUST!

I have been crocheting for over 40 years. I have always used a straight Tunisian hook, but when you want a wider blanket, it can get tough. I tried some bamboo hooks with a plastic stringer, but I absolutely hated those. These were a bit more than I wanted to pay but these are actually really great hooks. They have a sharp enough tip, but the size of the hook itself is perfect. The stringer is metal and stays solidly on. I am super happy with this purchase. The blanket I am currently working on, I bought the yarn on Amazon, too (12 skeins for just over $30)

I am in love with these crochet hooks. The sharpness of the tip is exactly what I need. They are beautiful as well. They are comfortable to hold and work with. I wish I could give them more than 5 stars. Very, very satisfied.

Package arrived quickly (3 days). The contents did not smell funny as other reviews reported. So pretty! I got the pink cables! Smooth cables and joins. 4 different lengths of cables. The colourful smooth stoppers attach smoothly. All the hooks are good quality. No rough spots and are easy to hold. Connectors work well. I already tested out the 7mm hook and I love it. The price is amazing!! I recommend this buy for anyone who likes metal crochet hooks. The zippered pouch is handy for storing the hooks and the cables! I’m impressed. Attached picture*

These are really nice. Favorite things about them: (1) they are smooth to the touch, (2) they are clearly marked with the size on the hook (my biggest frustration is hooks where I can’t easily see the size), and (3) the cords are perfect—(these cords are better than my favorite name brand who is known for the quality of their cords—no fighting curl [there is no memory]) (4) the cost is very inexpensive when compared to the expensive popular ones.My least favorite thing is the case; I will probably replace it.I love these! Also—almost forgot—crocheting with these is a pleasure, light, smooth movement through the yarn, feel good and light in my hand.

This is a great all around set! Comfort 4.5/5, durability 5/5, value 5/5, size profile 4.5/5, aesthetics 3/5. The only thing about this set that feels lower quality is the storage pouch. It feels cheap to me. As far as functionality, that depends on the type of yarn being used. The metal is super smooth, the tips are quite pointy. I found that with silky, slippery yarns it was too smooth, but with rougher textured yarn; just perfect! If you are looking for a metal Tunisian crochet set you can’t miss with this set, especially for the price!

I love the hooks! They are well made. They slip smoothly through yarn. The cables however don’t hold up well. I wish that I could find some good replacement cables.

I am absolutely in love with this set! It is very well put together, the hooks are comfortable, easy to use, and are lighter than my regular aluminum hooks. I especially love how pointed these hooks are, very useful for Tunisian crochet. The cables are very nice and easy to use. Since these arrived they are the only hooks I have used! For the price they are absolutely worth every penny.

Lovely set of Tunisian hooks that feel really nic nin your hand. They're smooth on the yarn, and glide with no snagging. The set comes with all of the common sizes I use so I don't need any additional ones. The amount of hooks and the range of sizes make this a good value. I am thrilled to use this set!

This is a beautiful tunisian crochet hook set! I have been crocheting for over 40 years and always wanted to learn tunisian so I treated myself to this set. I was hoping that these would work well as a first time user and I was not disappointed. The yarn glides through the hooks so smoothly. They are comfortable to use and not heavy to hold. The tightening tool is great also as it keeps everything in place and cords do not come loose/twisted up. I tried a different wooden set but ended up returning it as it was too difficult to use and I was struggling. This set is perfect. I like that the hooks can be used for traditional crochet also if desired. Well worth the money....

This set is AMAZING!! It screams quality right out of the package. The hooks are gorgeous and smooth. The tips are very pointed, however, this will just take a little getting used to... not seen as a negative for me since it allows me to be precise and to get my hook in tight spots when needed whereas other hooks would struggle. I love the pink case and board for storage. All of the cords fit on all of the hooks without issue and comes with connectors, so you can create as long of a cord as you want. This was a luxury buy for me and did not dissapoint!! I think I'll even start using the hooks without the cords for regular crocheting! They are that beautiful! So beautiful to have a full set of hooks that feel high end!
