My son wears the shirt under his pads for football, He loves it! It’s true to size, Very comfortable, Nice looking, Great quality, Very sturdy. It gets worn twice a week and washed. Hang up to dry. There has been no rips, tears Or holes. I Highly recommend!

I worry about my son getting a line drive to the chest or head while pitching baseball. I am sure this shirt would redirect the blow away from his sternum and chest. Fits great, only drawback is the hand wash and line dry.

Got this shirt for the upcoming football season as my son loves these for football. I know you will have pads on, but this is really a must have when playing football as the padding gives an extra level of protection/padding that really makes a difference. Also the undershirt helps to prevent rubbing from the pads, but still lightweight on those warm summer and early fall practices and games.My son plays two positions, and he does find he likes the Tuoy version without the pads on the shoulders when he plays QB, but he likes the version pictured when he is playing defensive end.Also I learned that following the washing and drying instructions is VERY important. Our nanny threw the one we had last year in the dryer and it messed up the pads and it has not been the same since.

I got this for my 8 year old son for football practice. He plays tackle, so for me (and my boy) the more padding the better! Ha! He said he likes how it's lightweight, not too tight and protects his heart. I will be ordering another one and recommend this for kids who play contact sports!Thanks and I hope that helps! i got this short for my soon who plays football. It makes him and me feel more secure. There are several zones of safety on this shirt...the tailbone area, shoulders, and heart. He plays tackle and I just hope this shirt is helpful. It is definitely worth the price.

not to any fault of the product but i thought this would be a great football padded shirt but there is no padding to the sides of the body which is a huge bummer, its a great concept, but i don't think there is much protection to the body overall and not sure how protected a child would be, i would much rather have my child in something that offers more padding for the upper body but if you read the description and this is what you are looking for than thats great

this padding is just enough to cover and be protective while not being bulky and weighing down. It fits underneath a jersey or t-shirt without being noticeable. The quality is great, and the material is very breathable allowing for comfort and staying dry. We have used this for both soccer and flag football and it has definitely helped to keep my son from getting banged up and hurt. Very pleased with the quality and function both!
