I bought this again based solely on an older experience with this product. This container used to have much tighter and compact pellets to grind contained within. Since the last time I purchased, it has different, larger pellets that do not catch in the teeth as well as the older ones. It's mighty frustrating grinding and nothing happening. Wish I kept my old bottle to see if that top would make a difference or not, but oh well.It's built well, but having to take the pellets out, make them smaller to catch the teeth of the grinder defeats the purpose of having a grinder.That being said, this brand is usually what my cats enjoy second best. The pellets really help keep the smell of the nip contained and grinding them does express it a lot. Considering the extra steps, I think the cost is a bit too much. You can get a competitor for around the same price and with a lot more catnip cats go bonkers for - and no grinding on your part. I wish they would make the old pellets again, and actually have them for sale in a convenient way rather than making you hunt for them.

The pellets won't fit into the grinder. This product will not work. It is a great concept but they screwed up the manufacturing.I promise you it will not work. Save your money

Cat likes the product, but the pellets were too big to pass through the grinder. Had to crush them by hand.

Considering there was little or no description on this item, I'm amazed that i even ordered this catnip in a grinder on just a hunch.Customer answers varied, telling me there was or was not any catnip in it and perhaps pellets included.Pellets of catnip? WTH? What on earth could be hidden in pellets? They are pellets but they work!I tried this with my kitty first time last night & she really responded! 💖 I guess my other catnip had gotten stale. I am stunned & she is happy so I am as well!Let's hope that the fact that I'm grinding fresh (?) catnip pellets means she gets a freshly scented high every time!On day one, I'm super pleased!I'll update my review if this changes. Shipping was fast, arrived earlier than predicted! I really hope the catnip inside is a safe product, while I highly doubt it is organic in pellets.At this time, I would highly recommend the catnip grinder & and the bottle is refillable so that helps justify the high price.Perhaps I could use an empty pepper grinder and fill it with catnip as well!Grinder works well but bottle is very small and who knows what's in the pellets?
