The socket supplied with the kit is too small and will not fit over the new or old sensor.

Like someone else said the socket does not fit the new sensor but did a great job of getting out the old one. More importantly, the sensor only seemed to work for a couple months and then the truck started throwing the same code again

I bought a kit that included the tool thinking it would be sure to work. The tool was great to get my old sensor off but it doesn't even fit on the new one as the new sensor's body is a different shape. WTF!!!I had to buy a new set of crowfoots to tighten the new sensor after wasting an hour trying to get it tight with various other wrenches and pliers I had but nothing really gave me any security it wasn't going to loosen up and fall out.I should have just bought the crowfoots and the sensor itself and saved an extra $30!
