I’m not a professional or a trades person, but this Flaring Tool made the job incredibly simple! It’s easy to use, and every flare comes out consistent. The build quality is great, and the included case keeps everything organized well. If you need a reliable flaring tool, this is definitely a great choice! I am kind of glad they disclaim that the off center cone is on purpose because it does *look* broken from the factory, but its surprising how it works with it made like it is.

Comes in a case! I love it when manufacturers provide a nice handy case to keep all the parts/accessories together. Comes with not just SAE size clamp but METRIC just in case you have to deal with that, too. Includes a pipe cutter and a chamfer tool. Most importantly it's an ECCENTRIC type - meaning it doesn't just smash a cone down in the pipe, it rubs it around in one direction as you turn it around. Makes for a much nicer flare. Has a ratcheting feature just like the big name ones do where once it reaches its limit, it stops trying to mash down and lets you rub the flare for a smoother, better sealing fit.Note: this is a standard 45 degree flaring tool, not 37 degree (commonly used for AN fittings or JIC fittings.) Make sure you're getting the one you need. This one is commonly used for OEM type automotive fittings and HVAC fittings.Definitely hefty, not a wimpy tool. Great price especially considering it comes with a metric clamp in addition to the SAE clamp - not to mention the pipe cutter, chamfer tool and of course the CASE to keep it all nice and tidy in.

This flaring tool set is just what you need if doing your own brake lines. It has all the standard sizes needed. It has a nice case to hold them in and even a deburring tool. Every garage should have a tool set like this. I highly recommend it.

…..the flaring tool and the splints are quite nice, but the pipe cutter and deburring tool don’t seem to be built to the same level. They work, and should be just fine, but I have better ones here already so it isn’t much of an issue.Good case but I’m not sure I trust the latches.

For the money this is hard to beat! This kit is almost everything you’ll need for flaring most copper or aluminum tubing. It is not rated for steel and I wouldn’t recommend using it for hard material. Super easy setup and use on this tool. It may be a bit large for tight spaces but is great for bench or tailgate work. I haven’t had any slippage while flailing but have split a pipe or two while getting use to it. After a few tries I can now get perfect flairs every time. I haven’t had any leaking failures yet and I’m certainly happy about that. The price is right and it functions quite well.
