The TURBRO refrigerant scale comes with some nice features and works like you would expect. The storage case is nice to keep it in good condition, especially if you would be using it a lot like a DIYer. Teh scale is set up to be accurate and easy to use and it seems to be about right. I starts right up and the measurements seem to be right on from my testing.

This TURBRO Digital Refrigerant Scale with A Wired Controller for HVAC and Automotive Systems is great for HVAC servicing. First, from a little testing, the scale seems accurate with basic calibration weights. Second, this scale is easy to use; after you put in a 9V battery, all the buttons are fairly self-explanatory. It comes with a durable plastic case to store/transport the scale.What I really like about this scale is it has settings to recover refrigerant, and charge the system. Mostimportantly though, it has alerts you set to tell you when the correct amount has been transferred either direction. This simple scale is a must for anyone charging HVAC equipment.

This scale is robust & accurate, exactly what I needed! It does require a 9-volt battery (not included) & then it all works wonderfully. The scale, as well as the case that it comes in, is solid as can be. Very durable & seems like it should last a good long while. I tested with my calibration weights & it read exact to the gram. The display is bright & easy to read.This is a real good scale that I can surely recommend.

9 volt battery is not included. Go ahead and buy a battery when you order this scale. The refrigerant scale is not some flimsy thing. It is a sturdy metal scale that has a quality feel to it. I like this scale better than an unbranded one that I bought over the summer. The 9 volt battery installs behind the display in the handheld control panel. I like this better than the scales that have the batteries located in the bottom of the scale.

The scale is reasonably accurate, at least the 1kg weight and 100 gram weight i have read exact.But I do wish it had a finer resolution of .03oz or 1gram in reality refrigerant systems aren't that sensitive to a couple grams or .2 of an ounce, but with a resolution of 5 grams or .18 ounce I could be on the low or high end of that and not know. Just being nitpicky though. Everything works as advertised and the hard case is a nice bonus. BUT the latches on the case are extremely easy to pop loose, not much tension on them at all. So I had to add some adhesive backed rubber to the top of the case lugs so the latch had more tension.Outside that it's fine.
