My mechanic tried installing this but said it didn’t work and that I needed to get the part directly from Volvo. Once I got the Volvo part it looked identical but worked when installed. Oh well, lesson learned. I tried to get a refund but for some reason they just sent me another one…

The wiring is reversed when press the cruise plus end, it slows down and when I press the negative side it speeds up.
