I was excited to try this because I have never seen a turtle on a skateboard before. It's amazing because it steers by leaning just like a regular board. Our turtle is too big though because she would start good but kept getting stuck by tipping onto one side. Is she turned more smoothly with less of angle it would work well and she was faster on it. I like how you can customize it however you like with different wheels and colors if you want to get fancy about it. Would be perfect for a juvenile turtle but not as great for an adult one. Overall works well if your turtle is the right size so I give it 4/5 stars.

I got this for my 12 year old red-foot tortoise. However, one day after I received this board and harness, she had a serious health issue and it was more than doctor's could fix, so I had no choice other than allow doctors to humanely end her pain.I'm going to assume she would have loved the board. She was pretty quick for a tortoise (she couldn't beat a hare from a dead stop, but she could maintain a pretty swift pace). The board is real wood and it comes with soft foam "grip" tape. It also comes with a cool little tool for the trucks.Understand, the wheels are tiny, so I'm thinking the tortoise can only use this in the smoothest of areas, probably a smooth house garage floor or something similar. In my opinion, it's going to take larger wheels to handle sidewalks or asphalt.The harness came with a long leash and extra material for a snug fit.I feel unsure how to rate this due to the aforementioned sad event with my tortoise. However, just using my best judgement it's probably best for juvenile tortoises on limited surfaces rather than young adult tortoises like mine.
