I was looking for a small cylinder to take to the air rifle club to refill my pistol and rifle for a days shooting. This is perfect. I have a Tuxing compressor (cheap air cooled ) and dryer/ separation filter already, and that filled this well. Previously, I had been loaned a 3l steel cylinder and this is so, so, so much lighter and a much more convenient size, fitting easily into the footwell of the car. The valve unit is a dream. It has a quick fit with one way valve for filling, two gauges, one to show the pressure in the tank and another your fill pressure, a nice valve for modulating the gun fill pressure, and an easy turn bleed valve. The gun filling whip is directly attached, and points out at 90 degrees, so at some point I plan to change this to a quick connect on the bottle and 90 elbow on the whip to make it easier to use, but it’s definitely the norm on other bottles. The only real challenge I have is finding a suitable bag to protect it. Being aluminium at the core , carbon wrapped then GF wrapped, it won’t take kindly to knocks and scrapes. I would love to see them sell a 6mm neoprene cover with a handle and space to hold the whip. ( happy to sketch something out) Please do this for all your cylinders.
