Purchased 2 other power antennae to get over the air channels. For some reason they both got only 80 some channels. Now obviously that's a lot of channels, but I live in oc which is 25 miles from los angels and in the suburbs, nowhere near any high rise buildings, but couldn't get channel 7 or 9. These are local stations. WTH? My old non powered one got those channels. Well ordered this amplified antennae and boy was it different. It has a short range and long range toggle on the amplified switch. I tried both and got over 140 channels. I got both my channel 7 and 9 plus channels in Denver, Colorado. What in the world? To say I was pleasantly surprised would be an undersatement. Definitely buy this one.

Looking for an indoor antenna that actually.... WORKS?? Rest easy--here it is. This is the 4th different indoor antenna that I've bought and I FINALLY found one that works!! I am pulling in over 50 channels, even from new cities that are normally WAY out of my viewing range. This company is honest when they say that the antenna works IF you can put it near a window. I just set it on a tall box (I didn't use the adhesive stickers to attach it to the window) and it is.... PERFECT !! I am overjoyed to watch Seinfeld, local weather, King of Queens, and anything else that is on the 50+ channels. Don't hesitate if you're frustrated like I was. This is a rare "buy with confidence" on amazon.

I recently "cut the cable" and although I have streaming apps, I still wanted access to local TV channels to watch the news. This HDTV antenna works great and meets my needs to a tee. It came with all the necessary parts and was easy to install right out of the box, and it receives all my local channels without have to fuss at all with its placement. Both the pictures and sound are clear, regardless of the channel, so I couldn't be happier.

GB antenna work great! After doing a TV scan I picked up 24 channels. Now I have all the major stations and can watch my shows after cutting the cord to my local cable company. This antenna was very affordable and will work for everyone that has a digital TV that was made after 2004 that has a built-in TV tuner or you will have to purchase an antenna tuner box.

I reluctantly returned this one, not from a product problem, but placement problem. I have another one for another TV located on the East side of out house and it works fantastic, however I live on the coast and I needed one for a TV on the west side of the house and unfortunately there are no TV broadcast towers on the ocean. It is mostly directional although it did pull is many stations but the ones I wanted were sketchy at best so I returned this one, but as said the first one on an east facing window worked excellent.

Doesn't even pick up channels from 125 miles away. False advertising.

I purchased this little antenna to be a second at home and it did cause me a good impression!I'm in Laval, just north of Montreal, so not too far away from the main TV signal providers. My apartment is at the second floor, so not too high above ground.I have a wall turned towards south, where I could get the most from this gadget: 7 very clear channels. Although this may not look much, I compared it with my other antenna, a 10 years old high-end Winegard Flatwave that I installed at the same location for comparison: it gave me 9 channels.Since an equivalent of the Flatwave costs more than $100 nowadays, paying less than $30 on this antenna and having only 2 channels less sounds like a perfect deal.

I have a treadmill with TV attached. Unfortunately there is no antenna outlet even close so as I dropped using Cable TV years ago and went to OTA Antenna on the roof (which works BRILL...) I needed a separate antenna for the treadmill. Due to having a Stucco home (chicken wire all over the outside which acts as a Faraday cage for TV reception) I need a window mountable indoor antenna. Had an old one laying around... but while it worked with a 30ft extension cable... there were a number of OTA channels (some favorites) it could not find. I've put up with this for a few years and finally decided to investigate getting a new indoor antenna.I went online and searched and found one that everyone recommended BUT when I went to Amazon there were 2 varieties available, one non amplified and one amplified. How the heck do I know which will work???Looking at other products I came across this one with tons of reviews. It has an amplifier but can be switched so decided to take a chance on this oneFYI. I live about 25 miles from the TV TowersArrived last night. I didn't replace everything... First off I just mounted it in the window where the old one was and didn't even add the 5v PSU.. I just connected it to the existing 30ft antenna extension cable to the TV on the Treadmill and turned on the TV. Without doing anything all the existing channels that previously worked were still clean.Next I started a channel search (Indoor Antenna PSU still not plugged in). It pulled in loads more channels although if you know anything about OTA, many are "scrambled" or stuff I care less about. However it did for the first time bring in the favorites that I was missing. But there was a problem. A couple were not clear and digitally breaking up. So plugged in the PSU and got the Orange light (Short range). Worked a little better but not great. Switched to Distant (green light came on) and that solved all the problems.I have not as yet rescanned with the Antenna and PSU in the current state (plugged in and green light)... cos it ain't "broken" so leaving it asis. I know the OTA channels on my main TV using a roof mounted antenna and I have all those now on my treadmill TV so as far as I'm concerned, this works great for what I needed.Any cons? Well being picky... I don't like the idea of "sticking" the antenna to the window. I like the ability to clean the windows so I have it loosely leaning against the glass. It's a flexible piece of "plastic". It would have been a little better if it was a tad more rigid and also if it had an the ability to add an optional stand (My old one that didn't work as well had both these features). So as I said, being picky. However it works great and I was actually impressed that even pumping the signal through an additional 30ft antenna cable (from the amplifier to the TV) didn't affect the reception. If things change in the future I'll update the review but for me and for now, it does exactly what I was looking for. Very pleased with purchase.UPDATE:~~~~~~~I decided to rescan the TV even though everything was now working great.. it brought in about a dozen more channels. I've been so limited on TV channels using an older indoor antenna and now I get all the exact same channels that my roof antenna gets for my main TV. This thing works in my environment and distance from TV Towers. Awesome

For the price, this is a really good antenna. I just wanted to get few channels on the TV so I can watch Sports on my deck on the weekend. I do have to re-search for channels every so often but the TV does it quickly and the antenna seems to work. Very easy to install.

I have a pointy antenna which is ugly in the bedroom. I bought this one as it is flat and can be hidden. So far so good for the channels. Number of Channels are less than my previous antenna.
