I used this cable to connect between a 200 watt solar suitcase and a higher rated mppt controller that came mounted on the panels. It was plug and play from the panels to the solar connections I made on the new 30 amp controller. The wires were protected by a fiberglass sheath so abrasion of the cables is prevented. It also allows me to position the panels wherever I want them. The good part is that the original cables and battery clamps can be hooked back up to the solar suitcase if someone else's battery needs a boost in charging with the original 20 amp controller in place.

good quality cord. I am changing the setup for my solar panels and need a long cord. I wanted to insure it I had larger gauge wire to limit voltage drop from my solar panels, I like the additional connectors and the tool to separate the connectors. The jacket around the twin cords will make it easier to anchor down.

This is an excellent quality solar panel extension cable with precision-fit MC4 connectors pre installed. Also included are two sets of MC4 connectors and plastic tools for installing them (the necessary crimping tool is not included). Now I have some extra flexibility when it comes to positioning my portable solar panels when I use them while camping. These are an excellent value for the price paid and they are very easy to use.

Look closely at the wire stripper package and stripper. Package says up to 10Awg but strippers themselves only go to 12Awg. Useless for the 10awg wire that was shipped. Someone is pulling a fast one on you.
