I keep this in my office for a quick trap/chest exercise. The booklet comes with a bunch of exercises that this can do, but targeting the traps and chest seems the most natural to me with this. It's very well made and very easy to put together. It comes with a couple different ways to connect it so that you can adjust the 'weight' of it. I got the highest weight machine and it definitely works to muscles to both do repetitive motion and also to hold it in a bent position. Doing the latter for a little bit of time really starts to make my arms shake, showing me just how much this is working.I'm also seeing results when looking in the mirror!Very happy I purchased this and looking forward to continued use!

I like it, im a OTR truck driver and this is nice to carry on and off the truck, I think it will be good just for trying to stay tone if I can stay with a routine.

Very solid build, great resistance, easy to put together, I love the manual and instructions. I did a little workout and could feel it right away!

Very strong!! Assembly was easy. But I can’t make it bend at all—this is probably me. My son can work it though. We got the 80-100. That one is not messing around. Lots of resistance. It’s a little awkward compared to free weights.

All around excellent piece of training equipment. The photo shows the pins that allow the device to be used at various tensions.I use mine in my man-cave/garage. I am no jock, but I try to stay in shape and have found this device to be a nice addition to my work-out gear. Just grab it and do it. The 80-110LB will be a challenge for many so take your time. I over did it initially and paid for it.Stores flat. Small enough to put in my garage cabinet.Disappointed in the “professional exercise manual”. What you really receive in the box is a single sheet of paper with the same 8 moves shown on both sides, and 4 of the moves are basically the same. A quick search on the internet will show you more uses than the “manual”.Nice to see a company package their items so securely. Received the device in perfect condition.PROs:Value is excellent. The quality of the foam is great. The resistance spring is smooth and not as noisy as one would expect.Very easy to adjust the resistance if you remember “shorter is harder”.CONs:The manual is a piece of paper.RECOMMENDATION: Overall, I am pleased with the Twister Arm Trainer so I have recommended it to both friends and family.

This exercise device has a very simple design but is extremely effective in working out your muscles. The end pieces are steel with a thick layer of foam padding on the grips. The center pieces are heavy duty springs covered with foam padding so you can't get pinched by the springs. The pamphlet that comes with it shows how to assemble it for either 80, 100, or 110 pounds of resistance based on which holes you use on the center pieces. It also shows 8 different exercises along with the muscles that are exercised and suggested sets for each exercise. It definitely gives your muscles a good workout and it's much more convenient than weights since it's fairly small and only weighs about 4 pounds.

I bought this to use with my hips, I have muscle problems in the long muscle over the hip and this is a great workout for it. It works the arms really well also. I have seen a reduction in the pain level of the muscle over my hip after I have been using it as the book said. I have started working on the arms also. If it keeps working, I will be happy. If anything changes, I will amend the review, but for right now, it's a solid 5 with a recommendation from me.

This Arm Trainer arrived in three pieces that were easy to assemble. During assembly, you can choose from three pin-hole positions that adjust the resistance of the trainer. The springs provide the resistance for your exercise and they are wrapped in a plastic coating that seems sturdy - at least for now. There are foam coverings for more comfort at the places where you will either hold the trainer or it will rest on your body. I don’t know how well the foam will hold up after a while of sweating and use, but for now they seem ok.An “inspiration” or instruction manual is provided with suggestions for how to target various muscle groups. This trainer comes in three different models; each with different resistance ranges. The one I have ranges from 80 - 110 lb of resistance depending on which ping setting you use when assembling. The routines illustrated in the manual look easy to do, but with a minimum resistance of 80 lbs, they are definitely not easy… at least for me.Unless you’re sure of your fitness level, perhaps start with the lower-resistance model. In retrospect, I should have started with the 40 - 70 lbs version instead.
