These wrappers work wonderful for wrapping christmas caramels! They don't stick to the caramel & saves a lot of time.

These wrappers are just like cut pieces of wax paper to wrap my homemade caramels. I have searched for the best wrappers for my homemade caramels that I make for Christmas gifts for family and friends. I’ve used the clear wrappers (different type/brand) and the candy sticks to it. I tried what I thought were going to work and although the candy didn’t stick - the wrappers were thick. I will be using these wrappers going forward.

I used these for my homemade caramels for our church bake sale. Perfect size and twisted well and stayed closed. All sold! Wished I had ordered more, but wanted to make sure they worked out. Will be my go-to wraps!

I make caramels every Christmas. I use these molds https://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B07RLW4CPG/ref=ppx_yo_dt_b_search_asin_title?ie=UTF8&th=1 and the caramels come out the perfect size to fit into these wrappers. The ends twist and hold easily. This makes my life so much easier. No more cutting parchment for me! I bought the largest package (500ct) since I know that I'll be making these caramels every year for a long long time.

I bought these to use to protect delicate Christmas cookies that I make. The photo shows their size with two small folds —against a standard jam jar. I was able to insert two “lace” cookies back-to-back (as shown in photo) into each bag . i was a little disappointed that after a day in the paper absorbed some grease/butter (see soots on bag in photo) so I was unable to use them as gifts. My decision—maybe other people wouldn’t care. I liked the size—perfect for my cookie which tend to be large but thin. If you were using these for a bake sale or such, only one standard oatmeal or chocolate chip would work. They tear if you aren’t careful—i mean they’re aren’t careful—like don’t be in a hurry😁For the price and quantity, I was satisfied.

During COVID lockdown in winter 2021, I decided to tackle confectionery making, which included caramels, toffee, biscotti, hot chocolate mix and marshmallows, all made from scratch. I created gift bags for some work colleagues to brighten their dreary February.I used these papers to wrap my caramels and also as a bottom for the boxes that held the toffee, biscotti and marshmallows. These papers are wonderful! Not a single caramel stuck, and my caramels have a soft and chewy texture. My caramels are 1” x 1”, and these wrappers were perfectly sized to twist. And speaking of twisting, these didn’t tear at all. They were easy to twist, yet the paper was very thick and sturdy.I had made another batch of caramels with a competitor’s wax wrappers and they were inferior to these. The competitor’s wrappers stuck miserably to my caramels, they tore very easily, and they were too thin. I’m sticking with these papers for my candy making endeavors (no pun intended 🤣), even though they’re a bit pricier than the competition’s. I’d rather pay a higher price because they make candy wrapping easy-peasy and I had no waste. In the long run, paying more for these than cheaper ones will cost you less.
