This magnet is to test solenoids to see if they open and close. If you're not certain if your valve is opening this will definitely tell. Nice touch including a vial for storage to keep the magnet clean of debris. Nice simple product at great price.

This is small and convenient to throw in your tool box.It's a very simple tool, and I'm surprised more people don't use it.Instructions are on the back. Just slide over your solenoid valve and listen for the click. If you don't hear it click open, there's a problem.It's also convenient just to have a general purpose magnet in your tool box, to find a screw you may have dropped, etc.It comes with a clear plastic storage case.
