Bought this fireproof document bag to store important papers at home and it's been a smart purchase. The 15"x11" size is perfect - big enough for standard documents without being too bulky to store.The material feels substantial and well-made. The outside has a smooth, water-resistant finish while the inside has a heat-resistant lining. The zipper closes securely and runs smoothly around the edges.I appreciate the two separate pockets which help keep things organized. One section holds our home insurance papers and the other keeps passports and birth certificates separate. The pockets are deep enough that papers don't slide out when opening.The bag is lightweight enough to grab quickly in an emergency but feels protective enough to trust with important documents. It's also discreet looking - doesn't scream "valuable stuff inside" like a safe might.Water resistance seems legitimate - I accidentally spilled some water on it and nothing seeped through to the contents. Can't test the fireproof claims (thankfully), but the materials do appear to be fire-resistant.Missing one star because the zipper, while functional, feels like it might be the weak point in terms of fire protection. Also, would be nice if it came with some interior folders to better organize different types of documents.

Have been using this to store all our important paperwork in as it's much easier to grab in case of emergency than keeping all the paperwork in a safe (we live in tornado alley). And it does the job great. It is large enough to fit manilla folders with ease, and can hold a lot of documents if needed (or hard drives or more). I love that it is easy to grab compared to a safe that requires far more effort to get documents out if needed to get to the basement or out of the house in emergency. It's not heavy but nice and thick and has 2 different pockets you can use which is nice if you need to keep stuff separate.

This fireproof document pouch arrived in good condition with no issues. It's made of thick, sturdy material which feels like it's multi-layered as the product listing describes. The zippers for each pocket are covered by the flap at the top, which has the sturdiest Velcro I've ever felt to hold it closed (like, to the point of being a little hard to open). It's not like this is going to hold entire binders full of documents, but it's perfect for the select few you need most to keep them separated from the others and easily accessible so you can grab them and go quickly in the case of, say, a natural disaster you need to evacuate from. Nothing can absolutely guarantee the safety of your documents but I definitely feel better having them in something like this than just a standard file folder.

Pretty happy with this fireproof document bag, especially for the price.We don't have a ton of documents we need to secure, but the ones we do are very important (passports, birth certificates, etc.), so a flat document bag like this is great for our needs (versus a safe or fireproof box).Opening the velcro closure takes effort, which I appreciate because it tells me it's truly sealed, and well.Each of the two pockets has its own zipper, and the zippers seem durable, as does the rest of the bag. The stitching and layers of material all seem to be good quality, and there's even a little pliability to the bag. We don't have a standard sized filing cabinet and I need to curve the bag a little so it fits inside. I was concerned this might be too stiff to do that, but it's not.
