You can order a ton of individual pots from a company like Tayda Electronics, but the dual taper 9mm pots run about $1.29/each—totaling just under $13 for ten of them. That's assuming that they have any in stock. I prefer having dual gang pots over the standard ones just to have the option to add something like a fading LED that I can connect to, say, a volume knob to show how close to 1 or 10 the volume is. But even if I don't need the extra taper, the 9mm pots don't take up much space regardless of whether they're single or dual taper. If they cost the same, you might as well get the dual gang pots.That, and these seem to be more durable than the standard 16mm pots. I haven't had a single bad 9mm pot ordered from Amazon, but I've had several bad 16mm pots ordered from here and elsewhere. At this price tag, a package of ten like this is hard to find elsewhere. HiLetGo sells packages of 10 x 10kOhm dual gang pots for $6.49 currently, and 10 x 50kOhm dual gangs for the same price—which is an even better deal. But they don't have any other pot values, and theirs don't come with any knobs.Not that I care to have a whole toolbox full of blue knobs, but at least I know I have enough knobs to suffice for a project without having to resort to ordering them for $0.50 - $1.00/each.

Received this had two 5k two 10k two 20k and 4 50k pots.. No 100k pots.. the main reason I ordered this.. Amazon shipped me a.new order .. Same issue 4 50k. No 100k.. Desided to keep them for future projects..

Well made potentiometers and knobs go in tight and will not fall off.. Washers and nuts included. Stem is metal and has a nice dampened rotation looks and feels quality.. Resistance in OHMs are right on the money.. +/- 1% Will buy again!! Highly recommended.Note the stems are metal and well made so if you push or hit the top of the stem it will not break the plastic housing.. well constructed!!

I have two packs of these.. I would not suggest these to anyone considering a serious application where reliability is needed. I already have one that failed, a few that are intermittent and possible worrisome; most all do not trim smoothly, but these are cheap and depending on the hobby application they may be fine.Actually since the time of this writing (a week or so) a replacement I just put in a project had also gone bad within a couple of days.

The pot seem OK but the knobs are very cheap and small - though they do work.
