I have a Bose SoundLink Max and wanted a case to put it in that would allow me to carry the speaker around my shoulders. There's some instances when carrying it that way is easier because it keeps my hands free and I don't need to find table space to put the speaker down.The case is made of typical rubber. It feels sturdy and fits the speaker well. It did take me a few minutes of fidgeting with the case to get it to sit right. Luckily, the case has a cutout for the Bose logo and that comes in handy when trying to install and line it up. Installation also wasn't the easiest because the handle is a little difficult to remove, that's on Bose though.The case does not affect sound quality, you'll get the same with the case on or off. I think it does increase the overall functionality due to being able to carry the speaker multiple ways and not needing flat space to put the speaker down while having your hands free, or even hanging it by the strap.The blue color looks more like a sky blue and it's lighter than the blue speaker. I think it looks like it could match, but I would have preferred a darker blue better matching the speaker. The strap is an even lighter blue and has black fittings. Again, a darker blue and white fittings would have better matched the speaker and the handle Bose includes.For the price, I think this offers better protection than others. There are two "feet" on the bottom that keep the speaker balanced when on a flat surface, a flap that covers the 3.5mm input and USB-C port, and only the handle, Bose logo, controls, and speaker grills are exposed. I plan on keeping this installed on my speaker for most of the time.

The pictures are exactly what this is...The silicone is nice and soft, but fairly durable. One of the things that's different about this one is that the strap ends are not loops, they are strap throughs. This is great if you want a strap... they are also fairly nice when you want them off since they're flat and nice looking, but really it's a PAIN to put the straps through. The strap that is included is not a latch, it's a plain strap, so you'll be threading for a while. It's NOT a quick experience.One of the best things about the Bose SoundLink Max is the beautiful color. This case obscures that view, but not the sound. With the case it's a monochrome look that you either like or hate. I think I like it, but I don't know if I'll like it for long.Protection? This case looks like it will absorb the bumps so you can keep your speaker in good condition for the years you'll have it. Honestly, Bose speakers and headphones last forever. This will keep it looking good.This item is a RECOMMEND!
