I installed this TYC condenser a few days ago in 90 F Tennessee weather with the help of two YouTube videos: "Replacing 2016 Honda civic AC condenser...Easy..." and "Honda Civic (10th Gen) – Replace A/C Condenser and Recharge System (AC Condenser, Front Bumper)"Will update if it fails.Additional details:My new-to-me 2018 Civic was blowing HOT air on the driver side and barely cold air on the passenger side.Per tons of research, the condenser is vulnerable to rocks and road debris without a cover, leading to refrigerant leaking out of the system. Visual inspection of the original condenser on my vehicle showed obvious points of impact and oil leaks. Turns out, I had zero refrigerant left in the system. It did not come pre-oiled, and it did not include any gaskets, but for the price, I can't complain. My local Honda dealership had the oil and gaskets, $30 total for both gaskets and 2 bottles of POE oil.It was $60 for two bottles of r1234yf at my local NAPA store, whereas it was $45 per bottle at AutoZone.I already had a Harbor Freight r134a manifold gauge and vacuum and didn't wanna buy a new one for r1234yf. I bought "Aupoko R1234yf Quick Couplers" and "gohantee 5Pcs Brass R1234yf Special Can Tap Adapter Fittings Kit" to use my r134a manifold gauge with both the r1234yf system and cans. I am very pleased with the final results after charging the system with r1234yf.I additionally added a screen right behind the bottom of the vehicle's front grille to protect the bumper. The part I used was Amerimax #6360X2 from Home Depot ($4). I used wire cutters to eyeball cut about 6-8 inches of the screen as it's a few inches too long. I didn't use a ruler or anything precise. The screen is probably easiest to install right after the new condenser is put in place before bolting everything else back up, but I was able to simply slide it in after removing some of the splash guard clips. I intended to use zip ties, but the extra heavy duty ones I got were too large for the screen. Fortunately, putting the splash guard clips in alone turned out to be enough to secure the screen in place. I drove from Nashville, TN to Chicago, IL and back a few days later after installing without issue. Weather was 90 F and the car stayed blowing cold air. I heard rocks hit the screen multiple times during the trip, and there was a dead bug stuck in the screen, meaning that if the screen wasn't there, the condenser would have received the impact. I strongly advise installing a screen if you're already replacing the condenser.

Very good fit. Carefully packaged, pulled from box and it looked like a curved flat screen from shipping. No affect on how it performed. Comes with dessicant bag installed and all mounting and line bolts matched perfect. Easy install, put a vac on, recharged with the dumb 1234 refrigerant (1 can), an oz of Honda brand compressor oil and AC colder then it's ever been. I've used other brands of condensers in the past, sticking with this brand in the future.
