Before leaving the factory, every condenser that bears the TYC label has been leak-tested and test-fit on actual vehicles for perfect installation and proper functioning. All TYC condensers are similar to OE construction and the quality is in the details, from the number of tubes, the quantity of cooling fins, to the position of all mounting brackets and inlet and outlet hoses and fittings. The design will be similar to OE to ensure quick and painless installation.

Box tore up but intact. Pipes bent but was able to align them. Hopefully still airtight.

Connection tubes were bent down.Had to straighten by hand but they did not break. Tubes were sealed with plastic plug and not as shown in picture with metal and seals

Works well. AC just charged up by dealer after AC compessor and condenser and high side line replacement. Easy install.

Supposedly it’s a direct fit for 2008 Silverado, but says on box (noticed after removing old) it’s for a suburban with rear AC. Had to go to Advance Auto and spend more money. Also found that the threads for stud was messed up! I think it would be a good part if listed correctly, Advance Auto had same issue with listing

The fitment was good with the exception of a curve in the unit caused by poor packaging and mistreatment during shipment. In addition, the studs that lock the two a/c lines down are NOT INCLUDED and removal of your old ones is a daunting task to say the least...be prepared and buy yourself studs or bolts that fit the holes.
