One real hot day we had in Chicago this year it didn't go on and my car almost started to overheat. I turned it off and was gonna contact seller the next day to return but it seems to be working fine now. Hope to not have any issues w it in the future. The fit is perfect but I'm just concerned w the operation of it.

Actually purchased this fan for a replacement on a 1999 Audi A6 with 2.8L V6. Fit, function and connectors are exactly the same as the Passat. Only thing is the wiring is about a foot longer then the OEM Audi one that I removed, not a problem that a few wire ties can't neatin' up.

Perfect length of cable and fit. Would recommend this product. Install did not require service position and took less than an hour. Be sure to secure cables.

Replaced OEM fan on 2000 Audi A4 2.8L Quattro. The shroud was up against AC hoses. I had tobend them a little. Otherwise would be 5 star.
