I installed this tail light on a 2013 Honda CR-V AWD 5dr LX.I ended up replacing the TYC tail light bulb sockets with the original tail light sockets. Here's why:-the original turn signal bulb was a little loose in the TYC socket but held firmly on the original socket. Not sure why.-the top bulb is a combination nighttime running lamp and brake lamp. The nighttime running filament would work intermittently. It seemed that the pins of the TYC socket were shorter and thinner than the original lamp's socket, and they weren't making consistent contact. The original socket was a tight fit, but I installed it to the TYC tail light, and it has worked fine.-because of the above two problems, I also replaced the reverse lamp socket for good measure. The fit of the TYC tail light is not as good as the original. There is a slightly larger gap between the front of the tail light and the body of the car. The seam between the upper tail light and the TYC lower tail light isn't precisely straight now matter how I try to push the light into place. However, these are things that probably aren't noticeable unless you are specifically inspecting the tail light. When you step back and look at it, it looks okay. The color and the details match the original taillight well.Given that the Honda dealer wanted $250 for their replacement tail light and that the TYC light generally looks okay, I would probably buy the TYC tail light again.

This lens looks great but the fit is not perfect. The gap of the clip in front of the light is slightly bigger than the original. As a result the front of the light moves 1/8" up and down and side to side. Also the curvature of the light at bottom is more convex than the panel of the car. After installation the middle of the light protrudes out from panel 1/16" instead of being slightly inset. The top and the sides fit perfectly. The assembly comes complete with light bulbs and sockets. You just plug in the wires and fasten two screws. The total installation takes less than two minutes.

Taillights are expensive. But this saved me a lot of money, and matches my other tailight perfectly. It's SAE-DOT approved. The one issue we had on install is that one of the clips wouldn't clip on properly, and it worked at first but shook loose after driving the car once. To solve this, we just took the clip from the old tailight and used it as a replacement- now everything works great.
