I actually bought these to cover flowers over night in the fall to prevent frost damage and keep the plants going a few extra weeks. These are perfect for that and really quite large.These are also a good throw in the trunk during winter and a camping blanket not to worry about, as dirt or damage just puts them back in the shed for other uses.For moving, these are not the padded type, so won't offer as much bump and bang protection, but definitely anti scratch resistance and could be doubled up for more padding.I would buy again.Basically a low cost utility blanket for any number of uses.

We bought this for DIY across-province moving. Very good quality for the price and 12 pieces were plenty for us to wrap three bedrooms. We actually saved them for future use as they remained in excellent condition! Just noted it now charged shipping but we bought it for a higher price with free shipping. I guess this changes by the seller at times.

I was worried about dye seepage and toxic smell based on the mixed reviews but I had neither! These blankets are very sturdy, larger than I expected and did exactly what they are supposed to do...even my professional movers were impressed. To increase safety of more fragile or lighter hued items, based on Freytag's review, I did wrap everything first in this nifty plastic: 2 Pack of Mighty Gadget (R) Industrial Mini Stretch Wrap Film https://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B01MXF3K9S/ref=ppx_yo_dt_b_asin_title_o00_s00?ie=UTF8&psc=1 and had a lot of it left over for my 1 bedroom NYC apartment (1 two-pack would've been more than enough for me). If you're still on the fence, check out PSCrowbar's review on the how-to's of washing them prior to use which I probably would've done if I were a better human and hadn't procrastinated until the very last minute.

I wasn't sure what to expect after reading the reviews, but I was pleasantly surprised! There was no odor at all and the blankets were thicker than I expected. They provided good cushioning and protection for our furniture during our move and did not mar or transfer color to the surfaces. They were large enough that one could fully cover chairs or nightstands, but plan on 2-3 for dressors or large tables. They held up very well with no fraying or tears. I can probably get several more uses from them. Would highly recommend for moving.

When I ordered these moving pads, I hoped they would be thick enough to provide adequate protection to my furniture. I am very pleased with the quality of these pads. They provide good protection - not as good as thicker, more expensive pads, but more than adequate. They are just as thick, or maybe a bit thicker, than the U-Haul blue moving pads. Very good value for the money.

I bought these to help pad my dresser on a blue from Georgia to Arizona. They did a really good job. They were thicker than I thought they would be. They held up great and protected my dressers with no problem. The only negative that I could see would be the amount of lint that was left behind on the dressers. This wasn't a huge problem for me...I just used a duster and lint was gone! I did not have any issues with some tearing. So, I will be able to use these again for other purposes

These worked well for a local move, but they are not as sturdy as ones I've used for cross country moves. And they are MUCH cheaper than the flimsy blankets some packing/moving companies try to sell you. Just buy these and tell them "no thanks!" They are also great if you intend to store items which you want to protect, not to mention they make a great picnic blanket or cargo protector. I keep one or two in the car. I would order again.

I received the blankets quickly (Thanks Amazon Prime!). Unfortunately, the first blanket I took out of the pack had 2 big holes in it! I checked the others and it appears this was the only faulty one in the pack. It's about the length of a standard door frame and about 8 to 10 inches wider than the standard door frame. They're also thinner than I expected. This shouldn't be a problem for me, since I bought the 12 pack. I'll just double up when I cover my furniture. For example, I'm using the blankets to cover my sofa (90in ×36in) while it's in storage and I needed 5 of them to fully cover it.

We purchased 2 sets before our move so total of 24 and we almost could have used a few more. They were perfect and for multiple uses. We used a few to protect the new granite counters the week before we actually moved furniture in while we were installing lighting and other jobs. Used them to lay the flat panel tv on during installation and most recently used them on our "workbench" in the garage.I came back here because I wondered how they held up washing. A couple people didn't think so. I think they will, on cold and a very low dryer.I sold 18 of the 24, keeping 6 for projects, etc. and now I wish I had kept 12 of them. Oh well, this was a great deal and very useful. Only negative was that packing tape doesn't stick to them. We just used twine when we wrapped mirrors and large pictures.

We used these blankets when moving and packing ourselves and they worked perfectly. They are very thin and not thick like the ones that professional movers use, but perfect for wrapping valuable items like marble and other breakables. I also use them to cover tender plants outside during extreme cold and freezing temperatures. I also use them as dust covers on items in storage, and to cover the blades of my lawn aerator when not in use. I even keep one in the trunk of the car to protect the carpet. They have many uses after the move and are handy to have around the house. Because they are thin, they are easy to fold and store, and easy to clean. No complaints here!
