I was excited about these because I love my first one. These are not made the same. The plastic "pusher" piece is not big enough around for the steel sleeve, so the icing passes through the sides, which keep it from keeping enough pressure to come out the end like it should. Both are this way.

The finger hoop seems weak, not made heavy enough, questionably where it will break-!!!

NOT product fault! I was trying to buy a filler for jelly donuts.. these do not work for that. They are probably perfect for frosting, will most definitely try them for that at some point. Downside, these are the first metal ones I have used as I have always used the clear plastic guns, I really don't like how you can't see what is left in them. (how full they are)

My son is getting married in June and his fiance wants to make all the cupcakes since we will have a lot of children in attendance. So we specifically bought this to practice decorating cupcakes.very sturdy , excellent usage so far .

i have purchased plastic ones that would not hold up with frosting. these being metal provide sturdiness needed to pipe thicker items and frostings. wish entire piece was metal as plunger and tip holder are plastic.
