We love the lights which are installed inside our ceiling crown molding which provides a beautiful glow to the house interior. This is our 2nd set. The original set was 8 years old and over time 30 - 40% of the LEDs burned out so we decided to replace. My only comment is about the plastic clamps that come with the lights. They are too brittle and break easily. Need flexible clamps.

The overall quality of the rope light is excellent. However, the 65 ft length came with only 60 clips and about 45 sets of mounting screws. The vendor offered to sell me another pack of 30 clips and screws for $8.95 which is way over priced and should have been included with the original $70 purchase. Disappointing customer service.

On the pricey side, but it is very bright and it is quite well made. We initially bought one to see if we could use them for an accent light project. We eventually gave up on that idea, but I did not want to return the light, as it looked like it would work well as deck lighting. It only took us eight months and a pandemic to get around to installing them, but yes, we were right, the lights look really nice along the edges of our deck.The low profile clips and screws worked well for us, as we used them to attach the light to the floor. However, the other reviewers are correct, the screws are indeed very flimsy, so they probably wouldn’t work very well to hang the light on the wall or ceiling.

These went up so easy - the flat side made installing them even easier. We didn't use what they sent to install because it would have been way too time consuming and difficult for where we used this. We put on the ceiling of our pavilion and would have been difficult to use their staples. We did put them on the dimmer which has been perfect. Highly recommend.

These lights look amazing. They all work perfectly, easy to install. I like that they are flat rather than round because I put them around the edge of the ceiling in my kids bedroom. They only light on one side though so you cant use them as a rope light. They're SUPER bright! I added a $12 Home Depot LED lamp dimmer and I can adjust the brightness from very dim to bright as the sun! The lights are blue but do have a black lighting effect. Everything in my kids room that was white or of a fluorescent color now glows like were at midnight bowling or Monster mini golf. They love it but it may be an effect others may not want. The length is adjustable. I bought a 65 ft roll and needed only 58 feet. Every 19 inches there is a point you can cut and cap and thats it! Customized LED strip lighting!

Excellent replacement for 15 year-old incandescent lights in my great room ceiling cove. Super easy to install, with much less heat generated. These are almost twice as bright as the lights I replaced. However, the good news is that they work perfectly with the original dimmer already in place, previously used with the incandescent lights. No need to purchase an LED specific dimmer. --- While marketed as "Warm White", these are definitely "whiter" than my incandescents, and I do wish they were a little more yellow/natural for darkened movie viewing... but not a deal breaker!The only odd thing is that in the dark of night, there is a very slight glow emanating from these lights when they are turned off. I was told that this might be caused by a small amount of power being fed to the "night light" integrated into the dimmer switch. The small amount of "juice" powering that night light might also be powering the LED light rope, which doesn't require much. I actually now kind of like it, as it provides a perfect amount of light to grab a bottle of water in the night, without having to switch anything on.

We installed these lights on top of our newly-installed crown moulding in our bedroom. I installed the crown moulding 2" down from the ceiling to allow for these lights. To be clear, the light-strip from the first order from CBConcept contained a dead spot, and CBConcept offered to give me a discount on the order, return the order for replacement, or send a repair kit. I selected the repair kit, and unfortunately that didn't work out so well as the kit contained connectors designed for a light-strip of greater width (and in my attempts to use them, causing me to kill a couple of other sections of the strip). In the end, CBConcepts agreed to take this order back and credited my credit card after they received them. I took the plunge and orders a second light-strip from them. This strip had no dead zones (yea!) and installed quite easily atop my crown moulding. The lighting is very even throughout the length of the strip (no bright or dark spots) which helps make the overall project look that much better. Now when we have visitors we show them the room and get a lot of "ooohs" and "aaahs" - everyone loves the moulding and lighting in that room now! 5 stars for the good customer service of CBConcept and for a high quality product.

CBConcept have updated this LED rope light. It is even better now than what is shown in the product pictures (as of July 20/16). The product that is shipping now also has IP65 (weatherproof) connectors at both ends of the rope light so you can join two or more strings in series. The light output is very good and the LEDs are very close together to give a nice uniform lighting appearance. I use it on a dimmer and it works just great around the crown molding in my den. If it is too long, you can just cut the string at the specified places so you can shorten it to your needs. I recommend this product for any project that needs a quality rope light that needs to be adjusted to a specific length.
