My husband owns a car lot / mechanic shop and we are getting a lot of newer electric vehicles in. We do have a couple electric vehicle Chargers but not all the vehicles we get in are compatible with it and it just so happens that I came across this particular adapter that would work perfectly for one of our vehicles so of course I had to snatch it up. It came well packed and secured with no damage. Everything was exactly as described in the ad even down to the measurements so it fit perfectly where we plan for it to be. We were sure to review all the makes and models that this is compatible with before we got it and I would definitely recommend doing the same. As long as you do that it fits like a glove and it charges the vehicle up very quickly and efficiently. It seems like the charge lasts just as long as our name brand charging adapter that we have for the other EV charger as well. Very impressed with the quality and the craftsmanship. You can tell it's very heavy duty very durable and very well made just by how heavy it is and the weight it has to it. I'm sure this will easily last for years to come and it's definitely worth the money in quality alone. It checks all the boxes I needed it to and goes above and beyond what I even expected. To unlock, I press the button on the adapter once charging is complete.But the adapter is not compatible with all EVs, especially older models or those without DC fast charging. I double checked compatibility with my vehicle. Also, not all Tesla Superchargers work with CCS1 EVs, so I have to check the TSL app or interactive map to find compatible stations.
