2nd time buying this. My last one lasted ages so got another. Lovely quality and design. 4 stars not 5 as a bit expensive but stands out compared to standard oven gloves

Love these oven gloves! They match my kitchen beautifully and keep the heat of the oven away from my hands. They are well made and hopefully will wash up well too.

I purchased these oven mitts to replace 1 I had for 12 yeas. Never in my life have I ever had an experience like this. My house almost burned down because of these mitts! I do not have a stove with an open flame. My stove is ceramic and I only used the mitt to remove a baking pan which had been in the oven for 10 minutes to broil some IP prepared short ribs. I removed the pan with the mitt and the pan was not very hot. I cut off the oven. The mitt had only touched the pan. I draped the mitt on the handle of the top oven, which is double walled and was not even warm. I turned round to wash dishes 5 feet away and within 5 minutes the mitts had ignited and a furious fire was in full swing. As I tried to douse the fire with WATER it seemed the flames got higher and higher touching my ceiling. As you can see the mitts MELTED! I am so glad that I did not go out of my kitchen because my entire home would have burned down because of these mitts. DO NOT EVER BUY! These are not even flame or heat resistant. I am so disappointed and frightened now.

I just got this and we’ve only used it a couple of times, but we like it very much! It’s easy to hold, super attractive, and easy to store. I actually just ordered some magnetic hooks so I can hang it up. I also got the tea towels, so clearly I love the print! It brightens up my kitchen.
