I have been replacing all my cheaper truss hand knobs that have stripped out with these and they haven't failed me yet. Using over 2 years in light stands.

Well the product arrived in a timely fashion.Quite honestly though, these handknobs by Ultimate Support are for the most part, crap. They're forged from about the softest steel out there. Roughly a #2 grade. Not a very long "half-life". I'm constantly replacing these for my keyboard stand because after maybe a hundred or so set-ups they're done. Stripped! That equates to about a year-year 1/2 lifetime or less if I'm really busy. I have to be extra careful not to over tighten. Then there's the roadies. Don't get me started!Would be nice if they came up with a higher grade steel for these. I'd even pay the extra couple of bucks for some. It IS easier than a 1/4" hex head bolt and wrench... as long as it lasts.
