Extremely fine powdered graphite. Perfect for art projects, shading, and coloring of air dry clay projects. Tons of powdered graphite in this container that makes it a great investment for the serious artist! Great formula that easily blends and smudges.

I do a lot of woodturning and regularly work with wood with lots of "character" (tons of cracks and voids). For finer cracks, I typically use coffee grounds with thin CA glue and use colored epoxy for larger cracks. However, the coffee grounds don't always get into the really fine cracks, so I decided to try this graphite powder from Holdwin. This powder is very fine and is like working with soot. It gets on everything and is hard to clean. I make sure I wear a good dust mask anytime I work with it. However, it does a good job at filling the fine cracks. The resulting colored crack is a dark charcoal. I was hoping for a more jet black to blend in with spalting lines, but it still looks nice. The tub I received looks smaller than I was expecting, but it contains enough powder to last me years. The powder is double-bagged in zip-lock bags. The bucket also includes a pair of gloves and small bottle to dispense the powder. The dispenser is difficult to fill, and it tends to expel the powder in a "puff" which is impossible to precisely deposit. A small measuring spoon or popsicle stick has worked better for scooping into resin for mixing, or even placing on the crack and using my fingers to rub it in.Overall, this is a good product.
