After three failed attempts with other leashes, this BuddyArmor option finally keeps my Houdini-like white tabby secure during outdoor adventures. The escape-proof hook design makes all the difference - it has a clever locking mechanism that my cat hasn't figured out despite her best efforts. The hook clicks closed with a reassuring sound that lets you know it's properly secured.The blush pink nylon material strikes a good balance between lightweight feel and durability. After a month of regular use, there's no fraying or color fading despite dragging across concrete and grass. The padded handle prevents the leash from digging into your palm when your cat suddenly lunges after a bird or squirrel.A standout feature is the adjustable length capability. I can keep it short in busier areas for better control, then extend it in open spaces to give my cat more freedom to explore. The sliding adjustment mechanism stays in place once set.One important note: the product image shows a cat wearing a harness, but only the leash is included in this purchase. You'll need to buy a harness separately if you don't already have one. This wasn't clear from the listing, so I was initially confused when only the leash arrived.The thin profile of the leash prevents my cat from getting tangled when she inevitably wraps herself around trees or my legs. First of all, the color I ordered was, “Armor Blue.” I don’t know any world where any shade of BLUE is completely PURPLE! When unwrapped, all you see is purple, with not a hint of blue. That’s the first problem.The second problem is that there are no instructions. Yes, it’s a standard adjustable leash that you can put on however you want, but in order to make it absolutely “escape proof,” as it claims, you must use a “figure 8” style. It would be nice if instructions were included on how exactly to do this…especially for children, or for those not familiar with how to make it. I included a photo of everything included; there’s not even a link to help with how to put on a pet.All this being said, it is well made, the handle is nicely padded and comfortable, and everything on the leash is adjustable. Is it worth the near $25 price tag? I don’t know. For me, no. I think the only thing you’re paying that much for is the padded handle. If that’s worth paying up for for you, then this leash is right up your alley!

This is a basic leash, as some have mentioned, and does not come with the harness shown in the product photos with the cat. Because of that, it's hard to justify any price over $10 or $15 for it.With that said, it does have a couple of unique points that may make it more ideal for someone with dexterity issues. For instance, rather than having the typical slide lock for the hook, you just push it inward. It doesn't seem like much, but for someone who doesn't have good dexterity due to arthritis or muscle issues or something, this is easier to operate, especially if your furry family member is wriggling. The handle is also thicker and easier to grasp than most, which, again, I feel like would be easier for someone with dexterity issues to manage. Because of those two things, it is worth a little more than a standard leash for people who need those features.I picked mine up for a puppy and it is working well. I'm the primary user but someone else in the family has joint pain and so this is a good choice for them to have on hand. I'm glad we picked it up.

Super lightweight and functional leash that fits in my pocket folded up! I was looking for a very light leash with a small clasp (this one has a special design clasp I have not seen before, but the size is great) as my rescue pup is terrified of big claps and heavy leashes. I like the adjustable length feature too, and the padded handle is a plus!

I initially thought I was getting a harness and leash set for my cat, but it turned out to be just a leash, with no instructions included. The leash itself is nice quality, but for cats, a harness is generally more effective and secure for leash training. I’ll need to find a proper harness and attach this leash to it.As it stands, I’m not fully satisfied, using just a leash with my cat’s collar doesn’t feel safe for outdoor use. I think this product would be much better if it came as a set with a compatible harness.

It's a nice adjustable leash with a padded handle but nothing special. I had hoped since it was listed as for a cat that it would have a harness which seems to be shown in the photo, but it doesn't as far as I can see and doesn't come with any directions as to how to fit it onto a cat. So if you want a pretty lilac colored leash that can be made long or short (but not by the push of a button) this is for you. But not for me - my cat is 20 and I have moved to a place where he cannot go out by himself so I need a leash which comes with a harness.

Nice color! Simple lightweight leash is perfect for small dogs or cats. Nice, sturdy clasp for hooking to the harness. Adjustable length (you almost never see that!) Padded grip. Honestly one of the best leashes I have ever seen.

Pros:Quality material, love the color, the handle is padded which is a nice touch for comfort.Cons:I did not realize this was just for the leash and did not include a harness, therefore I believe this is a bit expensive for the what it is.
