The adaptor set fits perfectly, and includes two different swivel spacers to fit the different forends that Remington has produced over the years. Good Uncle Mikes quality!

I lost the front screw of my newer 7600 pump at the front stock, took a chance ordering this as I never liked the barrel mount.. this does fit newer 7600..very happy with the look and feel.

I have this on all of my 760's (3), replacing the barrel attachment for the sling. One of these I bought new and had a sling put on it, it had the barrel band. I took it to a "real" gunsmith and he chewed on me for a half hour showing me just why the barrel bands were junk. I'm not sure why they even sell them, if you use them for any reason, they will bend the barrel. The other two I bought used and both came with a barrel band type of sling, so I took them off and replaced them both with this set up and they work great.

Fit perfectly on a new Remington 7600 Carbine model with synthetic stock. Took about 10 minutes to install, just need a large flathead screwdriver to remove bolt on forearm/pump slide, replace with this one. To avoid splitting stock, use smaller drill bits going up to 3/16" to drill hole in butt stock for the rear mount, then screw in. I don't know why the package says "1968 or older" models as this fits and functions perfectly for my new Rem 7600.

You need to know the year your 760 was made. An email to Remington can answer this question. Mine was a 1968 so I ordered the one 1968 and before. Fit like a glove on the forend. Just be sure you keep the drill at a 90 degree angle to the butt stock so the eye screw will fit flat against the wood stock when finished. My 760 has a black forend on it so to keep the swivel from marring it I placed a small piece of thick black tape where the swivel will hit this area.
