10 cents a hook what not to like? These are Delaware River Striped Bass legal. Never going to bend these out on 30 lb. Test. I would not hesitate to use these for grouper in Florida. Great hook great price. Dress up the point with a file and you are good to go! As u can see from photo, plenty of gap when fishing eels for stripers!

I am always going through circle hooks either surf fishing or fishing for big ole' catfish in freshwater so it was good to find a pack of 100 hooks (size 6/0). The hooks are sturdy and the eyes are well closed (an issue I've seen on some brands of hooks at the 6/0 size is that the eyes are not well closed but no issue with these).Sharpness I'd rate at a 4 out of 5; they have sharp tips and barbs but not as "laser" sharp as some hooks that specialize in sharpness. With that said these will still do the trick in the corner of a fish's mouth.We took them out on an outing for catfish and they worked great to get a big hunk of the cut bait hooked on. Unfortunately we didn't get any catfish to bite so I couldn't give them a true test.One thing to note; the package they come in is not water tight so I'd not recommend storing them in this to avoid any water / salt spray from getting in. Even though they are corrosion resistant they would still likely rust given enough time. I am keeping them in the container but inside a zip lock bag in my tackle backpack; a few of them are then put in my trays for ease of access.
