It's an alright moka pot. I was a bit disappointed by how thin the metal on the top piece is but it did the job.

Good stainless steel and wooden handled moka pot. Description says 6 cups but I'm guessing that's of espresso, aka approximately 1 1/4 cups in actual measurements of water when filled right below the relief valve. Since there will be water left over in the bottom reservoir, it only reliably makes 1 cup of coffee. Coffee filter exactly fits an aero press paper filter, the holes in the stainless steel themselves are not very small, espresso grounds will leak into the bottom and top.Although it is induction capable, I find that power is not adjustable enough to get a good brew. Most of the time, it will be too quick to get any good strength coffee because induction power output is very high. This is no fault of the product.

Instructions very easy to understand, product is very easy to use. Brews about a 12 ounce cup of coffee. Use on any stove top or camping stove. When it stops hissing... It's done. Will be very hot, use caution when handling. Regular grind will do.

I really wanna buy an espresso machine, but I bought this in the meantime and it seems to work decently. There are some grounds that sneak through, which isn’t my favorite but it’s worth it to have some strong espresso in the morning. I like it because I’m on solar and I can just boil it and not have to worry about wasting my generator or solar so overall it works, but I’d like it if there was less grounds involved

Just received this Moka pot and brewed my first cup. Process was so smooth and the coffee is great. Definitely well made, good looking, and works perfectly. Replaced my ancient aluminum moka pot, I should've done it a long time ago. So happy I bought it.

Decent little coffee maker. I've never used a moka pot before and wanted to give it a chance because I had some grinds that were too large for espresso that I was unable to grind any further to get them suitable for my espresso machine. The directions are pretty clear. You put water in the bottom, up to the valve, then put coffee in the filter part up to the line, and then put on the stove on high for about 4 minutes (which I found was the perfect time--faster than I expected it would be). This made a brew that was admittedly weaker than a standard shot of espresso but was exactly what I expected (think a medium in-between espresso and drip coffee). The design of the pot is honestly quite cute, and it serves it's function well. The coffee was hot when it came out of the pot. It's also small and easy to store in a cabinet between uses, making it perfect for someone who needs to save space. If you're looking for an espresso alternative and not expecting something fancy, I think this moka pot would be great for you.

I ordered the 4 cup moka-style Espresso maker. I already have an espresso machine as well as a drip and a French press. Far back in the distant past I had an aluminum moka maker and somehow it was lost (and forgotten) in the shuffle of a move. Now, 20 years later, I'm back to experimenting with moka and I decided to try this particular pot, frankly, because of the wood handle.Did the wood handle heat up? No, not really. I did make sure that the pot rested over a med-low flame. The pot itself is much heavier than my old aluminium unit. The screw-in feature of the base to the top has a different sound, more metallic and clangy. After filling the base with cold water, just below the pressure vent, I boiled for 4 minutes, until the hissing noise stopped. I poured about 2/3 of a cup of coffee into a mug; this would be equal to about 3 or 4 'shots' of espresso, depending upon whether it's double or single.I've used the pot 3 times thus far. It seems to improve in coffee quality with each use. Either that, or my technique is improving. For those new to moka pots, it might help to watch a video or two to get an idea on how it's done. The pot is a 304 stainless steel from Edelstahl-Rostfrei, which is a reputable inox (stainless) brand. At a current selling price of $17.99 I consider it a good value.
