The first thing I noticed, when unpacking the device is that it gives a warning that it is NOT for use while standing, and it advises to keep children and pets away. Inside the instructions, there are some parameters for use with children ages 8 and up. This rollator is a well-packaged, heavy device, and you would think it would stay in place, but initially it slid away on the carpet from me, while using it. It is important to put the enclosed "stick on" carpet pads which when doing so, solves the sliding away problem. I used it on mode 8 (which I randomly selected) for 30 minutes. Every 6 minutes when in modes, the rollator stopped briefly and started rotating in the opposite direction. The rollator moves your feet and thus your lower leg and your knees, but it does not require much of an effort, if any. I never felt out of breath or like I was doing any true exercise the entire time. I think it is about movement, not effort. At the end of my 30 minutes, the rollator stopped, and registered that I burned 95 calories. I used it the next morning during my morning coffee, keeping it at a manual level of 12, but increased it to 13 when I got bored. It keeps constant track of speed, distance, time, calories and step count with a rotating display of all of those if you hit the "function" button on the remote. I can see value in the rollator providing mindless movement while still being able to concentrate on something else, i.e. a television show, a book, office work, conversations, etc. If a person cannot move their feet on their own or are infirmed or weak, this device will move the feet for that individual, helping circulation and lymph movement.

I don't understand. There's a motor and it just moves your feet for you? I thought there would be resistance. My legs are completely relaxed, the muscles aren't engaged at all. How is that supposed to provide any benefit or burn any calories?I might also be too tall at 6'1"? My ankles are moving, my knees less, my hips barely at all. They do talk about injuries and seniors, I can see how that could be beneficial. But for others? It does come fully assembled. The remote has a battery included. It is quiet, even on the highest setting.

This thing is fantastic, and absolute game changer! First of all it is 100% worth the cost and it's very well made! It's very portable, and it has a nice groove in the front that's makes it totally easy to pick up and carry anywhere you want, not to mention that it's not very heavy either, though it is very sturdy and durable. Everything is assembled when you get it, there's no screwing things in or attaching pieces, it's ready to go. It comes with straps to help keep your feet in place on the pedals, that you could just slide over each of the foot pedals, which makes it even more comfortable to use, especially if you're just in your socks, lol. It has a remote, which is really convenient and it also has touch buttons on the actual device itself in case you left the remote somewhere else or just want to control it that way. There a lot of different speed settings, and it gets going pretty fast, so you definitely can get yourself a nice vigorous workout, while sitting in working at your desk or playing games, lol. It plugs into the wall it runs pretty quietly, making it usable under any situation, since you don't have to worry about it disrupting anyone if they're sleeping, or something like that. I absolutely love this thing it's such a cool device, and it's very effective in helping keep your blood flowing and body moving, even at the most normally inactive time of the day - while you're sitting. I highly recommend this, for young or elderly, it's just a good piece of equipment to have if you want to stay active as much as possible.

This unit comes fully assembled and with warning to keep pets and children away. Once the non slip pads are placed on the bottom, this does stay in place. It has lots of different speeds and keeps track of time, calories born, speed, etc. It is pretty quiet when in use. I have not used something like this before, and I suppose this would be good for someone who wants to keep their legs and feet moving when possibly they cannot do it for themself easily, but for me, this just felt like something I put my feet on and it moved my feet and legs. It didn't feel like exercise, there is no resistance or effort involved. I guess this provides motion while you are sitting, but in terms of exercise I have doubts this really provides any.

I was looking for something low impact on my knees to get a little more exercise in during the day. My knees have some recurring injury so walking in general is difficult. This under desk exercise bike is somewhat large (larger than a toaster and maybe slightly smaller than a large microwave). It does require a plug in to use. Operation is very easy with the on board buttons or the remote control. Function is very smooth. It has different programs, which move the pedals either forward or backward. The speed and duration are controlled by the program number, which is in the info booklet that comes with the machine. I think for the cost, it is a good deal for what you get. But my only issue is that it seems to like to move a little bit each rotation of the pedals- either away from me or towards me, depending on with direction the pedal movement is. I have a low pile carpet and I wonder if this is the cause. I am sure I will come up with an easy fix, but I think the next model of this machine could work on this issue.
