We recently bought a new Ford Maverick and started exploring accessories to help preserve it for the long haul. When I came across this underbody shield cover, I went out to inspect the area it protects and was surprised to find dirt and small rocks already collected there, and the truck hadn’t even hit 1,000 miles yet.This kit is well thought out and includes all the hardware and even tools needed for installation. While it's technically possible to install it with the included tools, I’d highly recommend using quality tools to make the process safer and easier. If you're not mechanically inclined, a body shop or mechanic should be able to install it in under an hour.Before installing, I cleaned the area and applied my go to rust prevention product to maximize long term protection. The instructions were decent, the install was straightforward, and the coverage is excellent. This splash guard should help prevent premature corrosion from road debris, water, salt, and mud.If you’re looking to extend the life of your Maverick, this kit is a smart and worthwhile upgrade.

Time to install: 2+ hours, but I'm slow, take breaks, get distracted, etc.Socket set with 1/4" driver with extension and 3/8" driverHammer, Needle nose plyersExcellent fitment!Durable, powder coated aluminum alloy.Decent instructionsMaverick Truck Club Forum discussed the issue of the large cavity behind the drivers' side rear wheel and some members fabbed-up some sheet metal solutions. When this item appeared, I ordered it, since it came with all the hardware needed, even some tools and made to fit. Easy-peasy, right?I didn't have to jack my truck up, which was nice. Taking out the two large OEM bolts required use of a hammer on the socket driver handle. I prefer to use my own tools so I didn't use the included tools. Some needle nose plyers came in handy to squeeze the two nut holders which went into the two square holes and to remove the plastic wiring holder.I installed the large bolt into Plate A, finger tight, then installed the two bolts with lock washer and washers, also finger tight and went to Plate B.After removing the second large bolt, I positioned Plate B and reinstalled the large bolt, then the 3 small bolts, lock washers and washers, finger tight. The final small bolt with large fender washer and lock washer was too short, so I had to find another one that would fit the corresponding threaded portion of Plate B. First, I found a nut that would fit the short bolt and then found a longer, hex-headed bolt that would fit the same nut. So that worked out OK.Finally, tightened the bolts up evenly with about 30lbs of torque on the large bolts and perhaps 10-15lbs of torque on the smaller bolts.Bottom Line:I'm really happy with this purchase. If you have basic skills, this is do-able. This solves the issue of mud, gravel, debris, water, salt, etc. accumulating and possibly damaging things in that open, unprotected area right behind the rear wheel. This is a valuable upgrade to your truck and worth the buy-in.Recommended

I'm really satisfied with this car product I bought recently! At first glance, it feels similar to Mabett's products in design, but after experiencing it, it's definitely on par. The accessories are complete, and the installation steps are simple and clear. The instruction manual is explained in detail, and it can be installed quickly by following the steps. Even if there are any questions, the seller will patiently send video guidance after contacting them, and the service is very considerate.The product is made of aluminum and stainless steel, which is both lightweight and durable. There's no need to worry about adding extra burden to the vehicle, and there's no need to worry about rust and corrosion either. After installing it, I drove to a place with poor road conditions, and the mud, sand and stones were blocked tightly, effectively protecting the vehicle. I sincerely recommend it to car enthusiasts who need it!
