Printed on some type of fabric. Comes with double sided tape. Image quality isn't great. Product was delivered quickly. I put it under a towel and ironed it on low heat to remove the creases from being folded due to shipping.

I like the picture offered on this. But the picture could be sharper. Mine came just a bit faded. You may want to use a slightly warm iron to get out the creases. Cloth backgrounds are a little fiddly getting set up. But since it is not glossy, it feels more organic and reflects less light back in. These are growing on me. I have them on two other tanks after years of plastic backgrounds. Different companies.

I purchased this item for my 20 gallon fish aquarium and the fitting is pretty accurate. However, the item is printed on a canvas material. This print lacks the luster and detail of the sample image on the sale page. The image is very monochromatic and dull. It lacks contrast and the whole thing looks as if they smoked out the image. It is a matte print canvas poster, similar to those you see on refrigerator magnets, and made to order photography.This items low quality points are.-poor printing - dull - low contrast-item arrived untrimmed with clearly visible white border around the entire canvas that needed to be trimmed off manually. (I don't mind doing this but if I'm paying for an item I expect it to be trimmed.)-item arrived folded and creased. In order to use the item it will have to be ironed flat which is a hassle to consumers.Overall, I think this is another one of those "you get what you pay for items". The quality is low and the packing, craftsmanship, and handling of the item are on the low end of my appreciation scale. I don't even find that this item is a tremendous value. I've seen competitor items with much better printed quality.Lastly, the item is printed on a coated canvas which is a very thin cloth or paper like material. This is supposed to go onto the back of an aquarium where it can be saturated with water. I feel like this item may damage quickly due to water damage, staining, or just general deformity.Compared to other similar backings which are made of laminate, these are of lower quality. Unfortunately, I'm really not satisfied with the quality and I would have returned the item.

I like the image but what is it printed on?? It’s a nylon fabric folded and pressed into a tiny package. I melted it trying to press out the creases. Even after it melted it was still creased. Not good. I had to toss it out.
